Full internal memory

Post by oystein.jensen » 09 Aug 2017, 12:52

Hi,

Is there anyway to setup the CMC-99 to automatic overwrite oldest data when it is set as a datalogger?

Please advise the procedure for this, if it is possible.

Best regards

Dear Jensen,

It is a functionality that we are going to develop. For this moment, I can't estimate the date of the publication. Right now, your CMC can't overwrite the data when the memory is full.
Is your 1.5 GB memory full? Maybe you can set the logging interval to more rare. Usually this memory doesn't fill up for many months, sometimes years.

Dear Maciej,

Thank you for the reply. We had logger running for almost one year on a installation to try and capture a very rare occuring event, therefore memory was able to fill up.

Dear Jensen,

I understand your application. So the future functionality is perfect for you. It's still on a developing stage though.
Are there any signals informing about possible event occurrence? I think about log on a demand functionality.
